What is the eCMR?

The eCMR is the electronic version of the consignment note under the CMR Convention, which documents international road goods transport.

It replaces the paper CMR with the same guarantees, and lets you prove the transport to the customer, customs or inspection via a QR code.

Frequently asked questions

Does the eCMR replace the paper CMR?

Yes. The electronic consignment note has the same effects as the paper consignment note when it meets the requirements of the 2008 Additional Protocol to the CMR Convention.

Is it valid for domestic transport?

For domestic traffic in Spain the required document is the DeCA (goods) or the HeRU (passengers). An eCMR can serve as a control document if it contains the data required by national rules.

Do I need an internet connection?

No. The app works without coverage on the road and syncs automatically when you get connection back.

How is the eCMR signed?

With a touch signature from the phone, with evidence: GPS, timestamp and device of each signer.

Can I also issue DeCA and HeRU?

Yes. On the same platform you issue eCMR (international), DeCA (domestic goods) and HeRU (domestic passengers).
